This program is a variation on sound arguments which I also write on questo blog dal maggio scorso.
Per l'occasione ho scritto un racconto a due voci sulla gratuità del mare, cercando di restituire i piaceri uditivi che offrono spiagge, falesie e banchine portuali. Un canto al mare, inteso come il primo bene comune di una Penisola, l'unico grande paesaggio naturale delle nostre affollatissime, spesso sciupate, rive urbane.
In questo caso le voci dei due protagonisti, una bambina e un uomo per un doppio registro poetico e narrativo, si intrecciano con quelle di Massimo Troisi nel film “Il postino”, di Domenico Modugno nella canzone “Lu pisce spada” e di Fabrizio De André in “Le acciughe fanno il pallone”. A queste voci note si associano quelle altrettanto evocative fishermen of the documentary "The Lost World" by Vittorio De Seta, and stars in the film "Amarcord" by Federico Fellini. The story is complete with some tracks by Marco Bassoons, made using shells, accordion and sampler.
A tribute to the greatest natural sound Italian, our sea day, what that bathes our city, giving us every day emotions and feelings. The sound of a wave that breaks against a cliff or the sound of wind whipping the trees, the gentle lapping of the waters or the sweet song of a breeze. A bank on the look out for ourselves what we want to freely listen to the always fascinating new call of the sea. Ancient and prophetic voice, that reminds us of the ancient Mediterranean history and future of the many routes.
