kefen (a beautiful story of solidarity) Enrico Bosisio
There is great satisfaction for the "walk together" we are also supporting with our books, both for the number of children operated on for the style that we work with local doctors believed by very effective and respectful of their autonomy. In 2011 we will continue with two more missions to complete ... are the draft.
I'll tell you a little personal history that gives the sign of what we can concretely do for Eritrean children with the support of many friends and in particular the group "When I was little."
Last March, during a visit to Keren, Eritrea's northern cities to meet with disabled children, a mother had put me in her arms her child, Kefen of six years, who had recently had both legs badly burned in a fire in a badly amputated, asking me to do something to help.
We brought the child to Asmara on the occasion of the first mission of the Rizzoli last May and Prof Faldini has worked to stabilize the stump of his leg amputated and to improve le condizioni dell’altra gamba.
